What is a Promotional Model?

New York is a market year round with many different trades and conventions.
Two other big markets for this type of work are Atlanta and Chicago.
There is always work if you are in the Las Vegas area with all the conventions that are held there.
Boston is also a growing market.
Altantic City NJ is also a good market with the casinos.
To be a model in this field there no real restrictions on height, age or size.
Models are attractive, fit and have a great outgoing personality.
If you are doing trade shows or conventions the clients are looking for you to bring prospective clients to the clients booth, or table or stage presentation.Models will work full or half days sometimes there will be hourly bookings but more often especially for trade shows and conventions you will be booked for the duration of the show.
Sometimes the client will have a particular wardrobe they have in mind for the models to wear or they will ask you to bring several different looks.
For car shows, boat shows the models are usually dressed in sexier clothing.
Same goes for any night club bookings that a model may do.
The rates vary on the experience level of the model and also on the agency.
Some models will be contracted to be spokesmodels for the company they are representing or brand models where they are associated with a particular brand to create buzz for the product line.
We recommend that you find a good agency to work with, so that they can keep your schedule together for you as well as your payments from the clients.
