Model and Author gives Advice to Models of All Heights

by Isobella Jade
(New York City, USA)

Since 2001, I have hustled to be a model. It first started when I Googled the words model. Like many girls I didn't know where to start and my success whle standing 6 inches shorter than the average model at the castings, modeling jobs and on the agency boards has inspired me to write a book called Almost 5'4"-Confessions of an Unconventional Model, currently found on Amazon. (The Friday Project in the U.K have my book rights but first I self published and the book was made available on Amazon during the summer of 2007.) My original one-of-a-kind story is one of persistance and today I give modeling advice and tips for girls who really want to know how can I get ahead, and how can I be a model despite the lack of height, you can read up on my daily advice on my three blogs:

http://isobellajade.blogspot.com/
http://petitemodelingsource.blogspot.com/
http://petitemodelingtips.blogspot.com/

I cover how to get an agent, how to get quality photos, how to get in a magazine, and how to market yourself as a model no matter your height. Also each week I speak for 15minutes about modeling on my Podcast called MODEL TALK through BlogTalkRadio:

www.blogtalkradio.com/isobellajade

I would love to share my savvy advice, honest tips that can help any model of any help and share my story of persistance to make your own dreams and goals come true. As a model but also in life. I take any questions anytime and will help you find your way in the modeling business.

Cheers!

petite modeling agencies and more..
by: Isobella

Try these agencies in NYC:
flaunt models
R&L models
FFT modeling
Gilla Roos

It would be best to pick up a Ross Reports in Barnes and Noble in the magazine section- look under the Entertainment area of the magazine stands. You can mail the casting directors your headshot and compcard.

There usually are not blunt "petite modeling agencies" but some print modeling agencies do acccept submissions from petite models. Usually it helps if you are proportioned and your photos look like ads and editorials.

This past weekend I did a segment on Model Talk about being more than an internet model and how you can get ahead with what you've got as a model.
