C.James and the Watchuff Article Forbes Magazine
by C.James
Hi I’m rap artist C. James and I’m here to tell you how fashion influenced my life.
It all started when I was looking for Public Relations Company to help publicize a 16
Track album that is now available on iTunes entitled “Who Should I sign to” produced super producer J.Bravo. While I was on the search I had bumped into Transmedia, a highly reputable PR company that has been in the PR business for 25 years. I sent Thomas Madden the Founder and Chairman of Transmedia my Press kit to take a look at and “Boom” he loved it; he then had Transmedia contact me with an offer that I couldn’t refuse.
At the time Transmedia was in the middle of readying a launch of a men’s clothing line,
a luxury shirt called the Watchcuff (which can be seen at www.thewatchcuff.com ) they came up with an idea to pair innovative music with an innovative clothing design. They wanted to put Rap Artist C. James and Watchcuff together. I was to record 3 Rap songs for the brand. The first song entitled “My Watchcuff Blinging” which is now available for FREE downloads on my website www.cjamesonline.com . I was also asked to produce video footage and photos as well as serve as spokes model for the Brand, which I have posted on my website as well.
Transmedia then sent me a media kit, first class of course which included information about the Watchcuff Shirt and a few tailor fitted pieces from the men’s clothing line. I tried on the Watchcuff Shirt and my new Watch and I was automatically sold, the Watchcuff shirt is new and innovative clothing design which allows you to wear your
watch on your cuff so it’s always showing. Once I tried on the Watchcuff Shirt
It has changed the way I feel about life as well as my dress code. From since then everyone has been calling me C. James “The Ambassador of Luxury"
