Marilinda Rivera, better known as simply Marilinda, was the winning model competing on the third season of the television series Project Runway. Fifteen aspiring fashion designers compete to have their work featured in a runway show during New York's Fashion Week. Supermodel Heidi Klum serves as one of the judges of the competition.
Marilinda was the model for winner Jeffery Sebelia ,which she was featured in an Elle Magazine fashion layout. Marilinda is represented by Click Model Management of Ny.
In our recent chat with Marilinda we asked her how she got her start in modeling - how she began her career to become a fashion model.
I started modeling in Puerto Rico competing in beauty pageants.
What are your favorite things about modeling?
My favorite thing about modeling is travel & meeting awsome people.
Tell us what are the latest projects you are working on
I have just finished shooting the latest advertising for Old Navy for Tv and print ads working on many great projects with wonderful photographers and clients.
What is your number one tip for teen girls wanting to get into the business and become a fashion model?
My advice for young girls: don't stop believing cause everyday is a new beginning.
