What should model hair look like ?
What should your hair show to advertisers ?
Models should have neat clean hair at all times.
It should not have any split ends, color should not be fading or loosing luster.
For color treatments you should go to a referred hair salon. They will know how to add the extra shine to be camera ready and also know how to take away any brassy tones.
Models should go to the hair salon every four weeks to keep hair in good shape with silky shine.
Agencies will tell the model what the best color and cut will be on a personal basis and send guys and girls to salons they work with and trust .
When you go on a photo shoot there will usually be a stylist on set ..but sometimes if budget does not permit or if on location , the clients will expect the model to know how to do their own hair and makeup.
Models going to photo shoots for tests or bookings should have clean hair with no product in it.
For guys with longer hair it should still be kept neat with trimmed ends.
You should not change your hair style or shade with out consulting with your agent first. They may have you in mind for bookings that may not work for you if you change your look.
There are many natural products to keep your hair shinny and at it's best .. but remember that really healthy hair comes from a healthy lifestyle, keep a healthy diet with exercise and good sleeping habits.
